Thank you for your interest in my work, and it would be an honor to create something especially for you or for someone special in your life! I truly enjoy connecting and collaborating on custom commissions, and I would love to help make your vision for a painting become a reality! I am available to do several commissioned paintings each year, so please feel free to contact me for more information on scheduling and pricing. Below is a basic overview of what the commission process would look like when you work with me:
The commission process begins with a discussion of your overall desires for the painting, such as subject matter, size, and style. I am happy to paint something based on a reference photo that you supply, but we can also work together to come up with a design based on your unique vision for the piece. From there, I will create an initial pencil sketch for you to look over and approve. Once the sketch has been approved, I will start painting and will keep you informed of the rest of the painting process so to ensure that you are completely happy with the painting. Upon final approval, the completed painting will then be safely packaged and shipped to you.
I paint commissioned artwork on Arches 140 lb. acid-free watercolor paper in the size of your choosing. I also use archival quality paints and materials so that your painting can be enjoyed for generations to come.
